I woke up early the last day I was in San Francisco and took a long walk. Exploring Mission St. was visually amazing. The street appears to have a very rich history, sadly much has been neglected. A good number of storefronts were vacant, others closed indefinitely. But besides the dilapidation and vacancies, the strip had plenty of hustle and bustle, many of the businesses are still full of life. I imagine that this strip is a primary shopping area for many families and will continue to be for a long time.
A fresh start

A bummer

Stay productive!
Being an outsider, I loved seeing the ruins, but wonder what it was like when these theaters were thriving? I also wonder if there will ever be any attempt to revive them?
